At Burned Sports, it’s all about good advice, personal service and a good atmosphere in the store. We’re looking for someone who finds it easy to approach customers, is enthusiastic and enjoys being part of our team.
You don’t need to be an expert on basketball shoes yet. If you’re enthusiastic and eager to learn, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
What your workday looks like
You help customers find the right basketball shoes, sneakers, clothing and accessories. You chat with them, ask questions and find out what someone is really looking for.
Good advice is especially important with basketball shoes. That’s why you keep learning more about our shoes and which shoe suits a customer best.
You also help with:
- unpacking and processing new stock;
- keeping the store neat and organized;
- restocking and displaying products well;
- picking and packing online orders;
- helping customers and answering questions;
- working the register.
In short: no two days are the same and everyone pitches in.
What we’re looking for in you
- You find it easy to approach customers.
- You’re enthusiastic and sociable.
- You take initiative and don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do.
- You enjoy helping and advising customers.
- You’re interested in basketball, sneakers and/or streetwear.
- You work neatly and accurately.
- You enjoy working as a team.
- You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
Experience in a store is a nice bonus, but definitely not necessary. We think the right attitude and enthusiasm matter more than experience.
