What is Burned Sports?
Burned Sports is an independent concept store for basketball, sneakers and streetwear, at Hinthamerstraat 39 in Den Bosch and online. Floris started Burned in 2011 in Boxtel. Almost everything in the webshop is also in the store: come try it on, seven days a week, no appointment needed.

09Our story
Started as a school project
I was 17 when Burned started, as a school project. Around the same time, I left for America to see how far I could go in basketball. There I also saw the culture around it: shoes, clothing and brands you hardly ever came across in the Netherlands.
In 2011, I started Burned in Boxtel. My father helped me as a coach in the early days, and my mother works with us. Since November 2015 we’ve been on Hinthamerstraat in Den Bosch, and we still choose what goes on the racks ourselves.

Where is the Burned Sports store?

Can I try on products from the webshop in the store?
Yes. Almost everything online is also in the store. Just walk in, no appointment needed.
What are the opening hours?
Monday 13:00 – 18:00, Tuesday to Friday 10:00 – 18:00, Saturday 10:00 – 17:30 and Sunday 12:00 – 17:30.
How do I choose a basketball shoe?
Look at grip, support and cushioning. A high-top gives the feeling of extra support around the ankle, a mid sits between stability and freedom of movement, and a low-top suits quick, agile players. In the store, you can try different brands side by side.
Which basketball shoe brands do you carry?
Including Anta, Rigorer, Li-Ning, 361°, Peak, Under Armour, Nike, adidas and PUMA, for men, women and kids.
What size basketball do I need?
Size 5 for youth, size 6 for women and youth, size 7 for men. There’s a separate ball for 3x3. Also choose whether you play indoors, outdoors or both.
Which sneakers do you sell?
Including Nike, Jordan, Saucony, Vans, PUMA, Mizuno, ASICS and New Balance. We also carry Dr. Martens and Kleman.
What streetwear do you carry?
