Sneakers are probably the most worn shoes in the world. Let's face it, who isn't wearing them? The choice of so many models, color combinations and brands. Endless! History of sneakers
It may not seem surprising that the sneaker is so popular. Yet a hundred years ago people really did not wear sports shoes. It was not until the rubber sole was invented that the first sports shoes came on the market. To exercise, that is. The switch to the "normal" sneaker did not take long, of course. Once you know how comfortable it is, you will soon be over. The influence of top athletes, movie stars and artists is enormous. Basketball legend Michael Jordan in particular made a difference when his Air Jordans appeared in the 1980s. A classic that continues to enjoy unprecedented popularity. And with rappers like Jay-Z and Kanye West releasing their own sneakers, you already know that these will be a success. Major fashion brands join this "trend" that has no end. The sneaker has now become a timeless fashion item, for which everyone can be grateful.
