White sneakers
White sneakers are inevitable when you walk around the city. You see them everywhere. And everyone wears them. So you probably know that feeling when you come outside for the first time with your crispy white sneakers and walk around all the mud puddles with a wide arc. Why are white sneakers so popular? There are several reasons for this, but probably the main one is that you can carry them with you everywhere. And no matter what your outfit looks like, a white sneaker will complete it. It is therefore not surprising that almost every self-respecting sports brand has a white copy in its collection.
A white sneaker
And to think that white trainers were once labeled as 'no taste'. It wasn't even that long ago that white sneakers were only seen on the sports fields. However, those times seem so far away now that you can admire them on every street corner. And even under a wedding suit (or dress). That has everything to do with what a white sneaker radiates to someone. That is different for everyone. One feels an urban and street style vibe, while the other experiences it as timeless and classic. Amazing what a shoe can do. The white certainly has an influence on that. If a sneaker is completely stripped and has no colors, then it is only about the model. The shape, the features of the shoe determine the look.
How do you make a white sneaker white again?
Despite its popularity, there is one drawback. How do you keep your white sneakers white? Back to the feeling you get when you walk out the door in your spotless shoes for the first time. They are still virgin white. You constantly look at the ground, you are disappointed when it starts to rain and you are terrified that someone will stand over it. By properly treating white sneakers with a spray, you prevent these worries. And when the time comes (because you were smart enough to wear them to a festival), you usually get them clean again soon enough. Throwing it in the washing machine is not a good idea, a sponge with detergent and baking soda often works wonders.
