1972: Leon Ringeling, then a student, decided to revive the association that already existed but was unsuccessful. In its early years, TSBV Pendragon had seven members who were trained by Jo Hurkens. A successful combination, because Pendragon celebrated two consecutive championships in those years and quickly promoted from the third and then lowest class to the first class.
From the 1980s, TSBV Pendragon started to grow. During that period, a women's team was established and the mixed International Tournament, still the flagship of the association, was organized for the first time.
Not only the association changed, the sports center also changed. It got its own bar that was frequently used. For a number of years, fun outside the field was considered more important than performing in the field. In the late 1980s, some members thought it was time to raise the basketball level and successfully. The first men's team progressed to the big league and managed to stay in that league for a long time before making the move to national basketball in 2005.
The association now consisted of more than one women's and men's team. Today, the association consists of four men's teams and three women's teams, as well as a recreational team.
Product Range
We notice that members often look for a specialized store that can offer everything in the field of basketball and indoor sports. In our physical store and our webshop we offer everything when it comes to: Basketball shoes, Basketball Clothing and Basketball Accessories.
At the moment our standard collection consists of a club outfit, crewneck (sweater), training longsleeves, shooting shirts and t-shirts in different colors on which clubs can choose multiple designs. Some clubs choose to keep the competition clothing or merchandise in-house. The items can be seen in the webshop, but can only be ordered from the club.
We try to make improvement steps every month and expand our range!
Delivery and conditions
Most team shop items are specially personalized, therefore the delivery time may be longer than 1-5 days. The items that are chosen are always in consultation with the club.
