1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Saucony Shadow 5000 Sneaker Beige / Brown / Blue
The Shadow 5000 was a running shoe in the late eighties and is now one of the staple models in Saucony's Originals line. This colorway puts warm brown suede next to beige and off-white, with a blue-purple panel on the heel and along the eyelets. The large S on the side is done in white.
Where the Shadow 5000 comes from
Saucony built the shoe at a time when every running brand was developing its own sole construction. The reason the shoe has stuck around since isn't the technology but the lines: a low toe, a rising heel and overlays that keep the silhouette sleek.
Suede and mesh side by side
The mesh sits where your foot gets warm, the suede in the spots that take the most wear: the toe, the heel and the sides. Over time suede picks up natural signs of wear, which makes the color slightly lighter along the creases. A suede brush keeps the fibers upright.
What do those triangular nubs do?
The outsole has a pattern of small triangles, the XT-600 sole Saucony has been using for decades. That shape grips in multiple directions, which you notice on wet paving stones. The midsole contains lightweight foam, so the shoe feels less heavy than it looks.
Big sizes, up to 49
This colorway runs up to size 49, which is rare for retro runners. We also have 44.5 and 46. If you wear a big size and are looking for something other than the usual two models, this is one of the few options. Check the size guide for your correct size.
We mainly sell these to customers in large sizes who want something other than the two models you find on every shelf. Do keep the suede dry, though; with this color, that’s the only thing to watch out for.
You wear size 46 or larger and rarely find a retro runner in that size
You’re looking for a sneaker with suede and warm colors instead of white leather
You walk a lot in the city and don’t want to look sporty doing it
Do you walk through the rain every day? Suede and water don’t mix well, so choose something in smooth leather.
Going to work out in them? This model dates from the eighties; for that, go for a current athletic shoe.
Check the Saucony size guide to find your right size.
We have 41, 42, 44, 44.5, 46 and 49 in stock, in a regular width.
Not sure? Come try it on in Den Bosch.
