Return of the ‘South Beach’
Michael Jordan has the "Concord" Air Jordan 11. Kobe Bryant has the "Grinch" Nike Kobe 6. For LeBron James, the sneaker most often named as his greatest signature release is the "South Beach" LeBron 8, a pre-Heat colorway from 2010. His eighth sneaker with Nike helped launch his era with the Miamibasketball team, and now it is making a comeback. The "South Beach" 8 is arguably the cornerstone of Nike Basketball. A golden age of the late 2000s/early 2010s and partly responsible for the modern sneaker hype as we know it. Now that James’s signature models have been given the retro treatment in recent years, fans have been looking forward to the return of the iconic Lebron James Basketball Shoes.

The LeBron 8 ‘South Beach’
LeBron James has been as productive for his sneakers as for his career, and he has made all the headlines in recent weeks. And rightly so, because the athlete recently earned his fourth of what will probably be many more NBA titles. On top of that, it looks like his lineup of Nike signature shoes is ready to spread news, as it brings back an icon from the past: the ever-beloved and elusive LeBron 8 'South Beach'. Originally released in fall 2010, the offering is being brought back to life after more than a decade. Although there are some subtle changes in the construction of the Nike basketball shoe , we can easily expect a close 1:1 spec, in other words exactly the same, with all the vibrant Miami-inspired colors in tow. The signature aqua blue hues will cover the upper almost completely, interrupted only by oversized Swooshes and eyestays in a dark black neutral. Filament Green dresses the tread for a subtle touch of neon, while the much brighter Pink Flash brings a more immersive nightlife feel. Get ready, because according to rumors the shoe will be released in spring 2021 on the official Nike website.
