NBA Trades 2020-2021

It’s almost that time again: the trade season is just around the corner and opens in the NBA on 20 November, and the wildest rumors are already surfacing. Russell Westbrook reportedly wants to leave the Houston Rockets, and James Harden is said to be not entirely happy at his old club either. Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Jrue Holiday and many more basketball players are expected to change clubs during this period.

Chris Paul to the Phoenix Suns
According to the rumors, CP3 would be traded to the Phoenix Suns from 20 November in a 2-for-5 trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. This means that Phoenix is finally taking steps to get back to its old form as NBA playoff contenders.

Phoenix Suns trade:
Kelly Oubre Jr.
Ricky Rubio
Ty Jerome
Jalen Lecque
2022 first-round draft pick

Oklahoma City Thunder trade:
Chris Paul
Abdel Nader

Jrue Holiday to the Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are definitely not sitting still this off-season; they have already been in the news several times with the rumors and questions about what Giannis Antetokounmpo would want to do in his free agency this year. But the Bucks are also busy with the team around Giannis. For example, Jrue Holiday of the New Orleans Pelicans would come to play for the Bucks after this trade period.

Milwaukee Bucks trade:
Eric Bledsoe
George Hill
3 future first-round draft picks

New Orleans Pelicans trade:
Jrue Holiday

Dennis Schroder as the new Lakers point guard

It has been known for some time that after their successful season, the Los Angeles Lakers were still looking for a starting point guard. Rajon Rondo and Alex Caruso were good but not starter quality. The Lakers hope they have found their new starting point guard in Schroder.

Lakers trade:
Danny Green
28th Draft Pick 2020

Oklahoma City Thunder trade:
Dennis Schroder

Milwaukee Bucks bring young talent to the team with Bogdanovic

Bogdan Bogdanovic, a name that may not mean much or anything at all to you, but Bogdan was one of the best players in the Europa League until he was picked 27th in 2014 by the Phoenix Suns and traded to the Sacramento Kings, where he has spent his years so far. Many people are happy for Bogdan because they think he can show his true value with a team like Milwaukee.

Milwaukee trade:
Donte Divincenzo
DJ Wilson
Ersan Ilyasova

Sacramento Kings trade:
Bogdan Bogdanovic
Justin James

Derrick Rose to the City of Angels

Even though the trade for Dennis Schroder is as good as done, the rumors about bringing Derrick Rose to the Los Angeles Lakers keep coming. Derrick Rose would be a perfect fit alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. But because Derrick Rose is in the last year of his contract with the Detroit Pistons, they will probably try to trade him to get other valuable players in return.

Los Angeles Lakers trade:
Kyle Kuzma
Avery Bradley

Detroit Pistons trade:
Derrick Rose
