Bodyweight exercises

If you don't have any weights at home, you can also train with body weight, which works just as effectively. Training with body weight is also less strenuous, but will certainly help you improve your jumping power. The first exercise and probably the most fun is jumping rope. We all did this as a child, it not only helps with your jumping power, but you also burn a lot of calories. At number 2 we have squats, this is a good exercise for your entire leg but especially for your hamstrings and calves, which are 2 muscles that are very important for jumping higher. You can also use the squat jump variation, where you jump as high as possible after you have done a squat to also work on your explosiveness. The last exercise is lunges, which train your hamstrings. With a lunge, you place one leg one step in front of the other and sink forward. These exercises will take your jumping power to the next level.

If you want to jump a little higher, you will also have to work on your speed because the faster you leave the ground, the higher you go. In addition to speed, explosiveness is also involved, you would have to leave the ground with a lot of force to get higher. In addition, your arms are also very important, swing your arms when you go up. By doing that you will also reach a higher level.
