1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Woodbird Yuto Oak Shorts Brown
Denim shorts in a warm, washed brown, with lighter patches in the spots where pants normally fade first. The leg is straight and wide and ends just below the knee. There's a leather logo patch on the back; otherwise the construction is that of a pair of jeans, with five pockets, rivets at the corners and double stitching along the side seam.
Baggy: how much room do you get?
The leg hangs loose around yours instead of following its shape. You have freedom of movement and the fabric doesn't stick to your thigh when it's hot. If you want them slimmer, this isn't the style you're looking for: that room is built into the design, not the size.
Where the color comes from
Brown washed denim is cotton that has been treated after dyeing, so the fabric already has a worn look the first time you wear it. With wear, that fading develops further: on the knees, along the pocket edges and in the creases, the shorts gradually take on their own pattern.

Woodbird gives the size as a waist measurement in inches, from W26 to W34. If you don't know your size in inches, check your own jeans: it's usually on the label. When in doubt, grab Woodbird's size guide.
Keep the rest simple
With a wide leg, a simple T-shirt is all you need. Low-top sneakers and white socks complete the look.
For these shorts, we recommend sticking to your usual inch size: the room is in the leg, not in the waist. Don’t know that size? Then we’ll simply measure it for you in the store.
Want room around your thighs in summer? The leg hangs loosely around your leg.
Prefer your denim in brown rather than blue? This one is washed brown.
Looking for shorts that come down over your knee? These end just below it.
Like clothes that change over time? Washed denim builds up fading.
Looking for fitted shorts? The roominess is in the design, not in the size; look at a slimmer style.
Want shorts to work out in? Denim is too heavy for that; go for basketball shorts instead.

Then hang them up instead of putting them in the dryer.
That way the washed pattern stays as it is.
