Saucony Triumph 23 Running Shoe White / Green
What is this shoe made for?
For twenty-three versions now, the Triumph has been Saucony's name for the model with the thickest layer of cushioning in the neutral line. This is the shoe for your daily kilometers, not the model for chasing a time. Asphalt, cobblestones and the bike path on the edge of town: that's where it belongs.
What you feel underfoot
Under your foot is a thick layer of foam that Saucony calls PWRRUN PB: foam that compresses when you land and then springs back. Saucony lists 37 millimeters under the heel and 27 under the forefoot. That ten-millimeter difference puts your heel slightly higher than your toes, which is what most runners are used to in their training shoes.
Why it feels lighter than the previous one
Compared with the Triumph 22, it lost about 38 grams. That sounds like nothing, but over thousands of steps an hour it adds up. Saucony lists 263 grams for a men's size 9 in US sizing.
The insole counts too
Inside the shoe is a thicker, more responsive insole than the usual foam sheet, which Saucony calls the SRS insole. It sits directly under the sole of your foot, so it's the first thing you feel when you step in. The upper is made of knit mesh, a fabric with small holes that let air through.
White with a green sole
This version is white, with the Saucony logo in silver gray on the side. The sole comes in a muted olive green that runs all the way into the rubber under your foot. Little contrast, lots of calm.
Which size should you get?
Running shoes fit differently from brand to brand, so we won't guess here. Check the size guide for your correct size. Still unsure? Stop by and see us in Den Bosch; we have this version here in sizes 40 through 48.
We see this shoe go out the door just as often for long workdays as for running, and with this much foam that’s a logical choice. Do take it one size up from what you’re used to.
You put in daily kilometers and want to feel as little of the asphalt as possible
You ran in the previous Triumph and found it just a bit too heavy
You want one shoe for your runs and for long days on your feet
Do you run on forest trails? The outsole is designed for the road, so choose a trail shoe with lugs underneath.
Do you want to feel the ground? With this stack height you stand high; a flat model suits that better.
c. Runs small - take a size up
Go one size up from your usual size: this model is listed in our records as running small.
We have this color in stock from 40 through 48.
Check the Saucony size guide if you’re still unsure.
Width: Normal
Mesh • EVA foam • Sustainable Rubber
White needs attention, so wipe the sole edge with a damp cloth after every run.
Wash the mesh by hand and leave the washing machine alone.
Dry it at room temperature and not in full sun.
