1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Rigorer AR1 Year of the Dragon Basketball Shoe
The AR1 is Austin Reaves’ first shoe of his own with Rigorer, and Year of the Dragon is its boldest version. The upper is a woven panel in red, orange and dark blue with a scale pattern worked into it. Flames in yellow and light blue run along the white midsole. A dragon sits on the heel.
Where does the dragon theme come from?
Rigorer released this version for the Chinese Year of the Dragon. In that tradition, the dragon stands for strength, honor and luck, and that is reflected in the symbols on the shoe: scales in the weave, flames along the sole and the creature itself on the heel. Reaves’ signature is on it too.
How tight do you lace it?
The tongue has foam bubbles — the Bubble Lacing System that Rigorer designed at Austin Reaves’ request. Instead of separate eyelets, you pull the laces through raised loops, so the pressure is spread across your whole instep rather than building up in one spot. That lets you lace it up tight without it cutting in.
What’s under your forefoot?
The midsole holds Showtime Foam, Rigorer’s springy foam. Underneath, a plastic anti-torsion plate runs from your heel to your forefoot: it keeps the shoe straight when your weight shoots sideways on a cut. The rubber outsole has a tread pattern that grips in multiple directions, which you need for lateral play.

At its core, a basketball shoe is an indoor shoe. You’ll find the same floor, the same short sprints and the same lateral movements in korfball, handball and volleyball, so the AR1 works just as well there. Everything you ask of an indoor shoe is in here.
Who is this a good first signature shoe for?
A good choice if you’re starting to play more seriously and want a shoe that does more than a regular sneaker. Reaves is a guard who relies on speed and ball control, and the shoe matches that: low to the floor, light, and stable in the midfoot. We still have 41, 44, 46 and 48.5 in stock.
