1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Rains Fleece Zip Jacket Bark
Heavy fleece: what does that mean?
Fleece comes in thin and thick versions. Rains goes for the heavy option here: the jacket weighs 820 grams, and you feel that as soon as you pick it up. The pile on the outside is dense and short, so the jacket holds its shape and doesn’t hang limply over your shoulders. Thick fleece traps air, and that layer of air between you and the outside world does the insulating work.
What can you do with that two-way zipper?
The front zipper opens from both ends. From the top for when you get warm, from the bottom when you’re sitting and the jacket pulls tight over your hips. The collar stands up and closes right up to your neck, with no hood behind it. The hem and cuffs have an elastic band, so no cold air gets in from below.
How does it fit?
Rains lists this model as a relaxed fit, with curved seam lines that give the sleeve room. In the photo you can see that in the wide shoulder and the slightly rounded sleeve. Bark: the color of wet bark
Bark is the dark brown shade from the Rains palette. It looks almost black in a dim room and only shows in daylight that there’s brown in it. The brand comes from Denmark and deliberately keeps its colors understated. Machine wash at 30°C, no tumble drying and no ironing.
We always lift this fleece for a moment when someone asks about it: 820 grams feels different from the thin fleeces you’re used to. Try it on with the sweater underneath that you’d actually wear with it, and you’ll know enough.
