1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Project X Paris Carpenter Shorts Black
Long, wide shorts in black, with the rugged look of workwear. Project X Paris takes this style from the carpenter’s tool pants and carries it over to streetwear: extra pockets, double stitching and a leg that falls well past the knee.
What makes them carpenter shorts?
On the right leg, there’s a separate pocket with a loop next to it. On the original, a hammer hangs there; here it’s mainly the style’s signature. You’ll also see five pockets, a zipper with a button and stitching in a lighter shade that clearly stands out on the black fabric.
How long and how wide are they?
The legs run straight down and end well below the knee, so they’re closer to cut-off jeans than to athletic shorts. The thigh has plenty of room, so they’re easy to sit and bike in. Where does this brand come from?
Project X Paris was founded in 2015 by two French brothers and expanded from Paris to stores in London, Berlin, Dubai and Los Angeles. The collections revolve around roomy cuts and large graphic prints. These shorts are among the quieter pieces: solid black, it’s all in the shape.
What do you wear them with?
Solid black goes with almost any shirt, so you can pair them with a bold button-up or a white T-shirt. With low-top sneakers, you keep the proportions balanced. The fabric is a blend of acrylic and polyester; wash them inside out at thirty degrees and hang them to dry, and the black will stay deep for a long time.
This model runs longer than regular shorts: on most people, it reaches well past the knee. If you’re not used to that, it’s better to try them on in the store first before ordering your size.
