1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Prohibited Newport Pleated Shorts Black
This black Newport is the plain version of the model. No stripe, no print, just the shape: two pleats at the front, belt loops all around, slanted side pockets and a horn-effect button above the fly. On the back of the waistband sits a woven brand label from Prohibited, the Berlin brand that makes this model.
Black does something different with the pleat
On the gray version you see the pleat right away, because the chalk stripe follows it. In black you mainly see the drape: a straight line from the waistband to the hem, where the light falls just slightly differently. Calmer, and easier to combine.
Sneakers or dress shoes?
Both work. With low sneakers they get a streetwear edge; with smart loafers it almost becomes a summer suit. Wear high-top sneakers with them and the hem falls just on top, leaving little leg showing.
Three sizes, in inches
In black, 30, 32 and 34 inches are still in stock. That is your waist size, not your regular clothing size. Measure your waist at the height where you wear your pants and check it against the Prohibited size guide.
On the go and at the office
A good choice for a summer day when shorts should be acceptable but athletic shorts go too far. Hang them up after wearing instead of folding them, so the drape stays straight and the pleats stay in place.
Black without a stripe sells fastest at our store as a second color next to the gray: it goes with just a few more shoes.
