1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Prohibited Newport Pleated Shorts Gray
Prohibited comes from Berlin and makes streetwear that borrows from suits more often than from tracksuits. The Newport is a good example: shorts with two pressed pleats at the front, belt loops all around, slanted side pockets and a smooth woven fabric with a fine white chalk stripe over the gray. Above the fly sits a horn-effect button.
Where does the leg end?
The leg runs to or just past the knee and stays roomy the whole length, without tapering toward the hem. That way you see the pleat run from the waistband all the way down. Want them shorter? A tailor can take up the hem without losing the pleat.

Does the fabric wrinkle?
It is a woven fabric with a smooth finish, not a cotton chino. That kind of fabric largely recovers when you let it hang. So hang them up after wearing instead of folding them, and you will rarely need to get out an iron.
What do they go with?
A good choice if you wear long socks with sneakers, or low shoes on bare ankles instead. Because of the stripe and the pleat, they look good with a plain shirt; a second busy pattern on top quickly becomes too much.
The chalk stripe is subtle enough to wear these shorts with a dress shirt too, something athletic shorts can’t pull off.
