1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Asics Gel NYC Sneaker Beige / Gray
Cream suede and light gray mesh, the familiar Asics stripes in white and gray, and a dark blue-gray trim that wraps around the sole from the heel. The Gel NYC is a sneaker Asics put together from old running models: the upper references the Gel-Nimbus 3 and the Gel-MC Plus V, and the sole comes from the Gel-Cumulus 16.
Where the Gel NYC comes from
Asics has an archive full of running shoes from the 1990s and 2000s, and the Gel NYC picks parts from it. That explains the build: lots of separate panels, a somewhat chunky toe and a sole that flares out wider than you're used to on a modern sneaker. It's still very much a street shoe, not a running shoe.
Gel in the heel and the forefoot
In two places there's a block of gel-like material in the sole: under your heel and under your forefoot. That block deforms with each step and then springs back, so the impact lands softer. After a day of sidewalks and stairs, that's the difference you feel in the evening.
All day on your feet
This shoe is made for walking and standing, not for sports. The wide sole edge gives you a stable stance on uneven sidewalk tiles, and the mesh keeps your foot cool. Suede does darken in the rain, though, so on a wet day you're better off grabbing something else from the closet.
Beige with gray and dark blue
The cream tint keeps it light, while the dark blue-gray around the sole hides the dirt you'd otherwise spot right away on a light shoe. In stock in sizes 38 and 39. Check the size guide for your size, or come try it on in our store in Den Bosch.
We recommend this version if you’re looking for a light sneaker that can still take a beating: you only really notice the double Gel cushioning in the heel and forefoot after a few hours of walking. In the rain, you’re better off choosing a pair in a different material.
