1 How long does delivery take? In the Netherlands, we deliver within 1-3 business days. Order before 15:00? Then we aim to ship your order the same day, and in the Netherlands you'll usually have it the next day. Delivery abroad can take longer. Weekend orders ship on Monday.
2 Can I exchange it for a different size or color? Yes, through our return portal you can easily exchange it for a different size, color or even a different product. You register the exchange, send the item back and a new order is placed for the replacement. Return shipping is free for exchanges.
3 What is your return policy? You have 14 days after receiving your order to change your mind and cancel it, and then another 14 days to actually send it back via the return portal. The product must be in its original condition and packaging.
4 What if my product breaks? Our warranty period is 100 days from purchase. If your product breaks and no longer works the way it should, report it via our warranty page — we'll assess whether it's covered by the warranty. Your statutory rights (the legal guarantee) always apply as well.

Anta KAI 2 Mentality Basketball Shoe Purple
The KAI 2 is the second model Anta makes together with Kyrie Irving. This Mentality colorway is lilac, with a zigzag pattern in the woven upper, threaded with colored yarns. The collar is dark gray, and the thick midsole and scaled outsole are light purple.
What’s under your foot?
Anta uses a full-length midsole here that is foamed with nitrogen. That foam compresses on landing and then rises back up, so part of the energy goes back into your next step instead of into your knees.
How does your foot stay on the sole during a hard turn?
Two things do that job. A hard plastic rim runs up along the side and holds your foot in place when you lean over, so you don’t slide over the edge of the sole. In the middle sits an X-shaped plate that keeps the shoe stiff along its length: when you turn in hard, the sole doesn’t twist with you.
Why does a guard choose a low shoe?
On a low model, the collar sits below your ankle bone. That gives less support up top, but your foot moves freely and the shoe weighs less. That’s why players who rely on their first step usually go low. If ankle support matters more to you, a mid-top model makes more sense.
Does it work for volleyball and korfball too?
The sole and the lateral support are just as useful in other indoor sports. Grip on a sports floor and a foot that doesn’t slip away on a lunge: in volleyball and korfball, that’s exactly the same story.
At Burned, we mostly see the KAI 2 chosen by guards who cut in fast and change direction a lot. Anta describes the last as normal to wide, so if you have a narrow foot, we recommend trying it on first.
Do you make a lot of quick changes of direction during a game?

Do you have a history of sprained ankles? This is a low model with less support up top; look at a mid-top version instead.
