The student basketball club Baros was founded on February 14, 1968 by a group of students with a taste for basketball. Over the years it has grown into a club with approximately 160 members.
These teams operate at a wide range of levels, ranging from a national level to the lower local classes. A lot has changed over the years, but Baros is still reminiscent of a group of (former) students who love partying and basketball. It is therefore not surprising that the members of Baros hang out after the training (especially on Tuesdays) and games for a drink in the canteen in the gym or in one of the many bars around Rotterdam.
In addition to basketball, Baros strives to host multiple social drinks per season. Our annual international mix tournament, traditionally held on the third weekend in March, has a reputation for being well organized with a great atmosphere.
Product Range
We notice that members often look for a specialized store that can offer everything in the field of basketball and indoor sports. In our physical store and our webshop we offer everything when it comes to: Basketball shoes, Basketball Clothing and Basketball Accessories.
Currently, our standard collection consists of a club outfit, crewneck (sweater), training longsleeves, shooting shirts and t-shirts in different colors on which clubs can choose multiple designs. Some clubs choose to keep the competition clothing or merchandise in-house. The items can be seen in the webshop, but can only be ordered from the club.
We try to make improvement steps every month and expand our range!
Delivery and conditions
Most team shop items are specially personalized, therefore the delivery time may be longer than 1-5 days. The items that are chosen are always in consultation with the club.
