Japanese style

Puma has just unveiled the all-new Tsugi silhouette, which showcases the sensibilities and functionality of Japanese design to perfect this latest shoe. 'Tsugi', which translates to 'NEXT' in Japanese, represents the fusion of modernity, technology and traditions and brings a new wave of aesthetics to progressive streetwear. With Tsugi, Puma expands its Sportstyle Running shoe design and pushes the boundaries of innovation.

Tsugi Kori

Puma has expanded its Tsugi range with the release of the all-new silhouette, the Tsugi Kori. The Tsugi Kori was announced by Puma brand ambassador The Weeknd and brings a new wave of aesthetics to progressive streetwear. The Kori is inspired by Puma’s archive, such as the Blaze of Glory and the popular Tsugi Blaze. The Kori features an aggressive, rugged outsole, a knitted sock collar for extra ankle protection, soft molded overlays and a woven heel piece, all made from water-repellent materials and a neoprene construction. As a result, the sneaker keeps your feet dry and you are protected from the elements. The innovative running cushioning technology of the Puma sneaker has been injected into the Tsugi range, which continues in the Kori. The silhouette also offers plenty of extra support, grip and comfort for all running requirements for the streetwear item. What used to give runners optimal energy return can now be enjoyed while you walk the streets.

Tsugi specifications

By injecting the most innovative running cushioning technology, Ignite Foam, into the new TsugiI range and placing it strategically under the footbed, ideal flexibility in the forefoot and cushioning in the heel provide optimal comfort. The first to drop from the range is the Tsugi Shinsei, modeled by brand ambassador The Weeknd. 'Shinshei', which means 'reborn' in Japanese, takes this progressive philosophy a step further with a unique lacing concept for the sneakers. By pulling the lace along the lateral and medial sides of the foot, the wearer is assured of just the right amount of fit. The Tsugi Shinshei also has a sock construction, a nylon-lined tongue and a textile upper for an ultra-snug fit.
