Stephen Curry went from a 3-star recruit to a 3x world champion with focus and control on the court. Curry basketball shoes are built for his style of play and for quick stability to help you cover more ground.
Under Armour 7 Curry
The Under Armour Curry 7 is Stephen Curry's latest performance shoe. The Curry 7 impresses with a multi-layer upper made of mesh, synthetic leather and TPU. This has significantly improved the comfort, stability and flexibility of the shoe compared to its predecessor. Excellent cushioning can be achieved with the in-house HOVR system. This safety shoe is guaranteed by a rubber sole with a herringbone profile. So it's time to cook them à la Chef Curry, because these Under Armour basketball shoes are definitely not catfish.
Under Armor Curry 7 ''Bamazing''
The annual celebration of International Women’s Day takes place on Sunday, March 8, and Under Armour is celebrating with a special colorway of NBA superstar Stephen Curry’s newest signature sneaker, the Curry 7. The new look was created with the help of actress Storm Reid and inspired by her incredible initiative to empower young girls. “I continue my dedication to providing a platform to empower young women in partnership with my team at Under Armour,” Curry said in a statement. We’ll be delivering the Curry 7 ‘Bamazing’ colorway for International Women’s Day 2020, which Storm helped inspire by adding her own design cues to the sockliner with Bamazing branding and words of encouragement like Btrue and Bbrave. Best of all, this Curry 7 colorway pays tribute to young women who inspire and support their dreams through higher education scholarships.” The iteration of the Curry 7 basketball sneaker features a predominantly purple color palette, a hue synonymous with symbolizing women. The standout feature is the sockliners that read “B Amazing” and “Humble,” which sits atop a Micro G and Hovr cushioning setup in the midsole.
International Women's Day
In addition to performing well on the court and looking good, Under Armour said the Curry 7 "Bamazing" colorway will support the annual International Women's Day scholarship offered by both the brand and the ELP. They're also increasing the annual $30,000 scholarship awarded in 2019 from one to four young women from Oakland who plan to attend college in the fall. The winners will be announced during halftime of the Golden State Warriors' March 7 home game against Philadelphia. While Curry has long been a champion for women in basketball, his support kicked into high gear in 2018 when young fan Riley Morrison reached out to purchase his Under Armour sneakers but was disappointed to find none available in the girls' section. Since then, the Under Armour basketball shoes have been stocked in a wide range of sizes and styles for girls at various UA locations. Morrison also helped co-design last year's Curry 6 "United We Win" release for International Women's Day.
